Kitty Litter Cake

Kitty Litter Cake: Gross but fun!
          

Ingredients:

• 1 German Chocolate Cake Mix
• 1 White Cake Mix
• 1 package White Sandwich Cookies
• 1 Large package Vanilla Instant Pudding Mix
• Green food coloring
• 12 Small Tootsie Rolls
• 1 *NEW* kitty litter box
• 1 *NEW* kitty litter box plastic liner
• 1 *NEW* pooper scooper

Preparation:

Prepare cake mixes and bake according to directions (any size pans). Prepare pudding mix and chill until ready to assemble. Crumble white sandwich cookies in small batches in blender, they tend to stick, so scrape often. Set aside all but about 1/4 cup. To the 1/4 cup cookie crumbs, add a few drops green food coloring and mix using a fork or shake in a jar. When cakes are cooled to room temperature, crumble into a large bowl. Toss with half the remaining white cookie crumbs and the chilled pudding. You probably won't need all of the pudding, mix with the cake and "feel" it, you don't want it soggy, just moist; gently combine. Line new, clean kitty litter box. Put mixture into litter box. Put three unwrapped Tootsie rolls in a microwave safe dish and heat until soft and pliable. Shape ends so they are no longer blunt, curving slightly. Repeat with 3 more Tootsie rolls and bury in mixture. Sprinkle the other half of cookie crumbs over top. Scatter the green cookie crumbs lightly over the top, this is supposed to look like the chlorophyll in kitty litter. Heat remaining Tootsie Rolls, 3 at a time in the microwave until almost melted. Scrape them on top of the cake and sprinkle with cookie crumbs. Now spread 5 of the remaining Tootsie Rolls over the top; take one and heat until pliable, hang it over the side of the kitty litter box; sprinkling it lightly with cookie crumbs. Place the box on a newspaper and sprinkle a few of the cookie crumbs around. Serve kitty litter cake with a *new* pooper scooper.

So, my first entry in the category of "Tacky Wacky Celebrity" is...drum roll... Harper Finkle of the Disney t.v. show, "Wizards of Waverley Place."  Harper is regarded as a obedient, punctual, smart, correct and high-grades student, contrary to her best friend. She always tells her what's right and what's wrong, sometimes considered her conscience. Her style is unique. She gets very nervous when in trouble or in fear, often panicking or running away screaming. Also, her famous line is, "See you in PE!"

The Grin Reaper Part 2

So, what about a gravestone, complete with a built-in candy dispenser, that has a solar powered button that one would push?  You would then hear one of several tunes/sayings in the deceased's voice.  Here are some suggestions:

-"Baby, Come Back..."
-"Watch where you're stepping, why don't ya?"
-"Please Don't Go..."
-"We're creepy and we're cooky.  We're all-together spooky..."
-"Boy, it's sure getting hot down here..."
-"Boo! Gotcha!"
-"Nah, nah, nah, nah, Hey, Hey, Hey, Goodbye..."
-"Ain't No Sunshine When She's Gone..."
-"Are You Lonesome Tonight?"
-"So, do I look like myself?"
-"I'm watching you..."
-"Don't push my button!"
-"Every time you go away, you take a piece of me with you..."

Any other suggestions?

Here Comes the Grin Reaper...Yes, I meant to Say "Grin." Part 1

So, I was thinking of starting my own funeral parlor.  What is more depressing than death? Let's liven it up a little! I would call it "The Grin Reaper."  My motto would be: "We put the FUN in FUNeral."  Basically, it would be a theme party based on the recent deceased's personality.  For example, what would mine be like?

-Rainbow Coffin
-Refreshments would be carnival/candy treats: cotton candy, Skittles, etc.
-Coloring pages and crayons would be passed around during the service.
-Colored invitation envelopes would be sent to those who I want to be in attendance.  Whatever color of envelope you receive, that is the color you wear. NO BLACK allowed.
-Songs: "Somewhere Over the Rainbow," "True Colors," It's My Party, I can Cry If I want To," etc.

Well, you get the idea! Think it would sell? Please leave a comment on the topic.  Solicitors who leave comments will be dunked in a bat of chocolate if caught. :)

So, I created this blog to show that life is only as boring as you let it be.  There are so many tacky wacky fun things this world has to offer.  I just want to bring color to life. Enjoy!
